Conflict minerals
We are committed to legal & ethical compliance in all our business practices. We also support the goal of ending the violence & human rights violations associated with the mining of gold & tin, tantalum & tungsten (“Conflict Minerals”) that prompted the United States Congress to pass legislation in 2010 mandating reporting & public disclosure related to the sourcing of Conflict Minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo & surrounding countries (“DRC”). The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) has issued rules implementing these reporting & disclosure requirements, as well as associated guidance. We are committed to complying with these rules & the associated guidance.
In support of our commitment to ethical business practices and to comply with the U.S. Conflict Minerals legislation and SEC rules, we have initiated and will continue appropriate due diligence efforts within our supply chain to identify the source of any Conflict Minerals in materials, parts and components we procure to manufacture our products. Further, we expect our suppliers to adhere to the same principles with respect to their sourcing and supply chains.
